December Daily ~ Day 14

The journaling states how we watched our Santa videos today and i got to capture the true unstaged emotion here..but very soon after things were not pretty.Santa didn't get thing just right and some brothers were saying others should have been on the naughty list..you know how it goes, life just doesn't go as planned but for that fleeting moment all is wonderful in the world and it was captured so i will choose to remember it that way!

This guy was from a card and I knew i loved him and would find a place for him! stuck him on a tag I ran thru an embossing folder and distressed up with who other than Tim!

December daily ~ Day 13

12 Days of Books...They have 12 Christmas books, someday i hope to make it 25 but i am okay with just 12 that works for us right now. I plan to scan the cover of the Littlest Christmas tree and a page from it ( don't think I didn't think to just rip it right out and go buy a new one!!) I really loved it!

December Daily Day 12

Nothing spectacular today as Mommy was not feeling well (that can't happen in December!!) but just love that Tyler has to fix everything around the house. He is so his father..book smarts not his thing but give that kid a screwdriver and something to fix and he is good to go!! I need him around to figure out how to turn things on around the house since hubby has everything hooked to some remote LOL even our tree has a dimmer on it!! Have a great Day 13 we start our 12 days of books!

December daily Day 10 &11

Day 10 Justin's sleepover

Busy fun weekend was had! Justin had his bday sleepover and had a great quiet time (without his 2 brothers to bother him) Then on Sunday we took them to Westbury
Gardens for a members

party which was really nice. Food and drink..Santa..arts and crafts, music, and pretty decorated rooms all over the house and the best part was it was free (albeit yes I paid for a membership LOL). Hope you are all having a wonderful December!

Had some fun today playing with cam and tripod..Will use these pics for Dec daily filler when nothing was going on. Always need one or two of those! Love the first pic!!and this last one was when I hit the tripod and i love it but could not get it again!! Settings were ISO 200, F16, Shutter speed 15 sec, room almost pitch black.

December daily ~ Day 9

I will be adding some elements to make this a hybrid page. For one thing I am adding sticker letters that say "So much for calm but...." because this is bright to me since i now see some light at the end of the tunnel. We have been working on this house since we bought it 13 years ago and it would be great to have it finished! We seem to finally have a goal! Today we took out our small useless mudroom and we are going to put in a big functioning one!! This will also be part of a double layout that will finish next week when the room is up.

Dec Daily ~ Day 8

I spent time today making what is probably my most fave gift ever! Love these ornaments :) My son later was trying to finish up his perler bead nativity set (been doing it for 3 years!! LOL) there will be a future pic of that when finished. Pictures of the ornaments are in previous post :) Have a happy day 9!

These just might be my most fav gift i ever made! And my hubby was beyond happy that i used the glass balls i bought like 3 years ago (maybe 4) but i knew I had them for a reason!Got messy with book text and modge podge. Inked with Tim Holtz Christmas colors and stamped on two of them lightly. Put some glitter on which I ended up loving!! Then i didnt have the right stamps but i went with Tims embossing folder and OMG LOVE!!!!

Dec daily~Day 6

On Saturday and Monday this week I had the honor of doing 2 photo shoots that touched my heart. While doing December Daily I always try to remember to be grateful and enjoy the whole month with my kids so that Christmas isn't just about presents. This is what I love about Dec Daily it's not just scrapbooking it's so much more if you let it be. The young boy is Luke a 12 year old twin and he is fighting for his life with neuroblastoma. And Danny is 28 and has a severe brain injury from a motorcycle accident in 2007. I cannot begin to imagine what these families go through daily but i hope I made a small difference in giving them these memories to hold on to. On the back of the pictures is just a little story about each of these wonderful people who have made me a better person. Click picture or link to enlarge.

December Daily Day 4

Yes I know I have skipped a day but waiting on picture from Tyler's sleepover and Grammy & Boppa's. So loved the Dicken's Festival that it was a must to go digi and have a bunch of pics! I added some tradional scrap stuff and ticket from the day so I have a hybrid page for today. So glad we went, it lived up to my expectations and then some.It's in Port Jefferson if you live nearby GO!

December Daily ~Day 3

One of our 3 boys spent the night and grandparents house and they took him to a small train museum. This kid is all about trains during the holiday season! He even put up our rather large train set under the tree when daddy fell asleep and Tyler became impatient LOL. And at night we got adult night at our long time friends Tom&Cathy's Christmas party. So blessed to have great friends and family.

December Daily begins!!!!

 So happy to be starting December Daily again!! Got an early start and finished almost finished the page just need to add what Justin did today to be nice to someone! Today is his 9th birthday so I felt even with 3 boys Justin should be highlighted. So looking forward to the fun!! Hope you follow along and I will follow back !
