Oh, that is a great tip, my children get lunchables all the time and we always would just throw away the plastic containers after. And my kids love to paint! We're your newest followers here with Tag Along Tuesday! :)

Just found and followed you via blog hop, the more we can do to minimise rubbish just sitting there in landfill the better - keep going on your green journey: once you open the door it's hard to close! maybe you should consider having a litter-less lunch (start with once a week) You know, buy a big tub of yoghurt in bulk (much much cheaper) and put some in a small recyclable container, buy fresh fruit (comes in its own wrapper), wrap sandwiches in a cloth napkin or simply put in a custom made re-usubale container, and make muesli bars from scratch at home (you know what goes into them and the kids will have fun baking). ReplyDeleteLove your recycle tip - I use those plastic-y paper plates when I'm painting, but I love that you managed to get those lunchable trays to do double-duty.
