To the average eye mom's eye and my kids who love them eye these look like empty lunchable trays...
but it an effort to get greener (I admit to barely being a light shade of green) you can reuse them ..
as paint trays!!! Paint trays tend to get messy if you don't clean them quick enough so what a great idea right?? My kids have been definitely donating to the paint tray collection lately.
That is an awesome tip! I use old pudding or jello cups too...nice!
ReplyDeleteThanks :) good idea too!!

Just found and followed you via blog hop, the more we can do to minimise rubbish just sitting there in landfill the better - keep going on your green journey: once you open the door it's hard to close! maybe you should consider having a litter-less lunch (start with once a week) You know, buy a big tub of yoghurt in bulk (much much cheaper) and put some in a small recyclable container, buy fresh fruit (comes in its own wrapper), wrap sandwiches in a cloth napkin or simply put in a custom made re-usubale container, and make muesli bars from scratch at home (you know what goes into them and the kids will have fun baking). Don't forget to check out my blog @ http://louandjane.blogspot.com/ Jane:)
ReplyDeletegreat idea!! thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi Heather! I linked over from the Transformation Thursday post; your "Art Journal" link totally caught my eye. Creativity and photography are two of my passions, so I'm apparently in the right place. :)
ReplyDeleteLove your recycle tip - I use those plastic-y paper plates when I'm painting, but I love that you managed to get those lunchable trays to do double-duty.
Anyway, just wanted to say hello and let you know I'll be following along!
Aloha,
Angie
