I leave you with a recyclable tip for the day...

To the average eye mom's eye and my kids who love them eye these look like empty lunchable trays...
but it an effort to get greener (I admit to barely being a light shade of green) you can reuse them ..
as paint trays!!! Paint trays tend to get messy if you don't clean them quick enough so what a great idea right?? My kids have been definitely donating to the paint tray collection lately.

  9. Just found and followed you via blog hop, the more we can do to minimise rubbish just sitting there in landfill the better - keep going on your green journey: once you open the door it's hard to close! maybe you should consider having a litter-less lunch (start with once a week) You know, buy a big tub of yoghurt in bulk (much much cheaper) and put some in a small recyclable container, buy fresh fruit (comes in its own wrapper), wrap sandwiches in a cloth napkin or simply put in a custom made re-usubale container, and make muesli bars from scratch at home (you know what goes into them and the kids will have fun baking). Don't forget to check out my blog @ http://louandjane.blogspot.com/ Jane:)

  10. Hi Heather! I linked over from the Transformation Thursday post; your "Art Journal" link totally caught my eye. Creativity and photography are two of my passions, so I'm apparently in the right place. :)

Love your recycle tip - I use those plastic-y paper plates when I'm painting, but I love that you managed to get those lunchable trays to do double-duty.

Anyway, just wanted to say hello and let you know I'll be following along!

    Aloha,
    Angie
